What is Pre-owned ?
In 2020 we launched M’A PRE-OWNED - a communal wardrobe where the M’A community can shop and resell much-loved pieces from iconic past MARQUES ‘ALMEIDA collections.
The responsibility we have to our family, to the planet and to our people means that we are constantly searching for new ways to make our brand more sustainable, and ensure our business is as circular as possible. We at M’A have always been believers that M’A feels precious not because it sits untouched on a hanger, but because it feels soulful and lived in – M’A PRE-OWNED is our most honest representation of this!

TAKE PHOTOS
Take photos 📸 of the M’A item(s) you want to sell. Please take photos of all relevant details of your item(s). We will only accept ‘A’ condition item(s) with no visible marks and that are in excellent resalable condition. If you want to sell M'A shoes, 👡 please send photos of the inner and outer soles, and also the heels. For hygiene matters we can’t resell pierced jewelry. 💍
SUBMIT TO OUR PLATFORM
Select the best photos of your item(s) and submit 📩 them using our Pre-Owned form. Please send accurate photos and information about your product to increase your chances of approval ✅. Our approval and proposal are based on the photos you send us. So additional photos are sometimes needed to ensure we give you an accurate quote.
SUBMISSION CHECK
After receiving your submission our team will check your photos and the quality of your item(s) 🔎. We aim to get back to you within 2-5 working days with an update upon your submission. Sometimes the photos submitted mavy not be clear enough for us to properly assess the condition of your item(s) and we may ask for more photos. If we’ve asked you to submit more photos, we’ll only be able to provide you with a quote once those photos have been received.
OUR PROPOSAL
If your product is approved by our team we will buy them off you for a proposed price which you’ll receive as M’A credits* to use on our website towards your next purchase from us. If you agree with our proposal about
your item(s), please get back to us as soon as possible so we can proceed
with the next steps. Our proposal will be valid for 30 days 🗓, after that you will have to make a new submission.
*This amount can change after receiving the product at our office.
TIME TO PACK
Once you accept our proposal it is time for you to prepare your item(s) to be shipped to us, we’ll take care of that 📦! Please send your address and best date to schedule a pickup from you, so we can provide you with a shipping quote and instructions on how to pay for the shipping costs. After you’ve paid the shipping payment we will send you the label and pickup 🚐 confirmation. Please make sure your item(s) are properly packaged so they arrive safely at our office. Fix the label securely to the package, and await pickup.
PHYSICAL INSPECTION
After receiving the package, our team will inspect the item(s) and compare them with the photos you submitted to make sure that the item(s) are the same and are in the same condition as the photos. If the item(s) match, our team will get back to you with instructions on how to use your M’A credits. If the item(s) do not exactly match the photos you provided, we reserve the right to send you a new proposal to approve. However, if your item(s) does not pass our physical inspection we will contact you to return it, but the pickup and return is your responsibility. So to prevent this situation from happening, please provide accurate photos and information about your item(s) in your initial submission.
M’A CREDITS
If the item(s) match with the photos, you will receive your M’A credits to use on our online shop. Your M’A credits are valid up to 1 year from the date you receive them and cannot be used with other promotional codes.
NEW M’A PIECE
After receiving your M’A credits, you can use them towards updating your wardrobe with any M’A product from our online shop, as well as helping the circular fashion movement :) Thank you very much for being part of this movement with all of us here at M’A!

What is M’A PRE-OWNED?
M'A PRE-OWNED is a service that enables you to sell your used Marques ' Almeida products that for some reason you don't use anymore in exchange for M'A credits to buy any product on the M’A online shop.
HOW LONG IS MY QUOTE VALID FOR?
Our quotes are only valid for 30 days. If you're happy with our offer, we recommend accepting it as soon as possible to avoid missing out. After this time you will need to restart the process and send us new photos of the product.
WHY SHOULD I SELL MY USED ITEMS ?
Reselling clothes has a big positive social and environmental impact. When you sell the items you don't use anymore you help reduce carbon emissions, prevent old clothing from ending up in landfills or incinerators and gives a chance of a second life to a product that isn’t being used anymore.
WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS CAN I SELL?
We only accept Marques'Almeida products that are in ‘A’ and resalable condition. Keep in mind that someone will eventually buy your used item, so please only submit excellent conditions and clean products. For shoes we can only accept submissions that have photos of inner and outer soles and heels so we can check the real condition of them. For hygiene reasons we can’t accept pierced jewelry.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RECEIVE MY ITEM(S)? HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?
We will send you an email to update you as soon as your package arrives at our office. After that, your item(s) will then go through our physical inspection and it can take up to 2-5 working days. As soon as your item(s) has been successfully verified our team will contact you by email with an update upon the approval of it.
CAN THE ORIGINAL PRICE I'M QUOTED CHANGE AFTER YOU RECEIVE MY ITEM(S)?
Yes, the price you receive is estimated, based only on the photos you have shared. Once your item(s) arrive at our office our team will do a physical inspection. If we find that the condition of the item(s) are a little different than we were expecting based on the photos you originally submitted, we will get back to you with a new quote or with a request for you to collect the item(s). This situation can be prevented by you providing accurate photos and information about your item(s) in your initial submission.
